Tsali Notch Vineyard

Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, Tsali Notch Winery is a bucollic setting.  The vineyard is close to Madisonville, TN and a short drive from Tellico village.

​

The vineyard keeper grows Muscadines, a very sweet grape indigenous to the Southeastern United States. They grow for their own manufacturing and also supply other winemakers, juice, jam and jelly manufcaturers. 

 

In addidtion to wine varieties you may want to try muscadine jellies and muscadine goat milk scrubs.

​

I'd suggest you call ahead for current details on the Vineyard Tasting Room... they were closed during our visit, but we enjoyed outdoor seating that overlooked the vineyards.

Greenback Farmers & Craft Market

​

On Tuesday monings set your sights on the Greenback Farmers & Craft Market.  They are open 10am to 1pm.

 

They offer the best in local wares from goat milk soaps and lotions, candles, herbs, veggies, cage-free eggs, homemade breads and cakes, and handcrafted items such as tea towels, baby apparel, and hand-beaded jewelry.

Find them and "friend" them on facebook.  Better yet, find them in person and thank Ms. Patti of Patti Cakes for some of the best lemon cake in these parts.
